Kathy D. reports that there were 51derby entrants this year and they caught some decent fish, as usual. The winners were a 8.07 lb. trout and an 8.81 lb. pike. I don’t know what the prizes were but with morning temperatures around 17 below, they earned them. I think the number of entrants may have been down. It looked like Bomoseen may have had their own derby going when Rosie and I passed by on our way home late afternoon.
