A couple folks have asked about the lake level. As of this afternoon, the water is at the 45” mark on their stake and the target summer reading is 52”. That means we pontooners can easily (yet carefully) get through the outlet from the access, thank you very much.
Tom W. sent along this loon article from the Valley News. It’s great except for the part about them usually requiring a quarter mile to take off. They do need a lot more than other birds do though.
